Microsoft Project - Silent Repair and uninstall

To repair and uninstall Microsoft project application silently:

 

1. Copy the below contents to a notepad and save it as Silent.xml:

 

For MS Project Standard:

For MS Project Professional:

<Configuration Product="PRJPRO">
<Display Level="none" CompletionNotice="no" SuppressModal="yes" AcceptEula="Yes" />
<Setting Id="SETUP_REBOOT" Value="Never" />
</Configuration>

 

2. Place this Silent.xml file with setup.exe.

 

 

Repair the application silently using the below command:

For MS Project Standard:

 

Setup.exe /repair PRJSTD /config "Silent.xml"

 

For MS Project Professional:

 

Setup.exe /repair PRJPRO /config "Silent.xml"

 

 

Uninstall the application silently using the below command:

----------------------------------------------------------------------

 

For MS Project Standard:

 

Setup.exe /uninstall PRJSTD /config "Silent.xml"

 

For MS Project Professional:

 

Setup.exe /uninstall PRJPRO /config "Silent.xml"
